Questions people ask
Do I need to log in to download something?
No. Paste the link to any public video, Reel, photo or carousel and we fetch it directly — no Instagram login, no account, no cookies stored on your device.
Will the download have a watermark on it?
No. You get the original file exactly as it was uploaded, at its original resolution — we don't re-encode or stamp anything on top of it.
Can this download private accounts?
No, and it never will. We only fetch content that's already public — if a post isn't visible in a logged-out browser tab, we can't reach it either.
What about carousel posts with multiple photos or videos?
Paste the post link and every item in the carousel shows up individually, so you can save one, a few, or the whole set.
Is this free, and is there a daily limit?
It's free to use. We do apply light rate limiting per visitor so the tool stays fast and available for everyone, but there's no paywall and no account tier.
Do you keep a copy of the links I paste or the files I download?
No. Links are resolved in real time and nothing you paste or download is logged against your identity. Fetched post data is held in a short-lived cache purely to make repeat downloads faster, then it expires automatically.
Is downloading from Instagram allowed?
Saving public content for personal use is generally fine, but the creator still owns the copyright. Don't re-upload or redistribute anything without their permission.
